These bird earrings were created using a vintage brass die that originated from India.

I was able to press sterling silver into the mold to capture the very detailed texture from the die, and then I used that to create the earrings shown here.  

I love the unique style and intricacies of the birds.

The earrings are made out of solid sterling silver.  I add a patina to them to darken the recessed areas and enhance the details.
