About me:

I was born and raised in Ocala, FL, but moved to Savannah, GA to pursue an education in art. In 2002, I graduated with honors obtaining a BFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design.  My major was 'Metals and Jewelry'.

My inspirations come from everyday life, as I seek to transform the beauty I find into the permanence of metal and stone. The designs are often uplifting with positive messages in the hopes that they can make the world a little bit brighter.

I work predominantly in sterling silver using traditional metalsmithing tools and techniques in combination with occasional stones and pearls.  Stones and pearls are simply colors to me.  I select them based on their natural attributes and often seek out uncommon shapes and unusual patterns.  Wire is something to be drawn with. The thin silver line becomes my pencil as I form permanent drawings to be worn and enjoyed.

I create my designs with strength in mind, so that they will last through generations. I find it amazing the personal connection a piece of jewelry can pick up and carry as it is passed from hand to hand.
